Give your event the element of WOW

Sitting for a custom portrait is something most people won’t have done before - giving your guests an element to remember and the artwork to remember it with!
Meet Linda, The Illustrator
It’s lovely to meet you! I’m Linda, a visual storyteller, drawing from a little studio in the picturesque Irish countryside with my loyal poodle Chico always by my side…… or under my desk.
I spend my days drawing an assortment of worlds inspired by my timeless love of humorous animals, Bauhaus design & classic cartoons from the 1980’s.
Here’s Some I Drew Earlier
Live Event Illustration - everything you need to know
So let me make things easier for you and answer all of your live illustration questions - and if you don’t see your question here, drop me a note and I’ll be happy to help!
-
Absolutely not! I love getting to know your guests and answering any questions they have while I’m drawing.
The most common question I get while I’m drawing might surprise you… “Is this your real job?” (- and yes, it is my real job!).
-
No, I draw guests on the spot, in the moment so that I capture the detail perfectly. If you ever see me taking photos, it’s for my own memory - not to draw from!
-
Most events! I have drawn at an array of events from PR launches, In-store events, brands promotions, internal corporate events, brand milestones, customer nights, award ceremonies & gala dinners.
Ive drawn on boats, in bars & at recording studios!
Working alongside event organisers, I can tailor what I do to suit you and I am open to all suggestions!
Feel free contact me with your details & run any ideas past!

Yes, I would love to!
The sheer joy of being a part of your special day is something I never take for granted. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience for you and the honour of playing a part in that never fails to amaze me!
I am affectionately known as The Wedding Illustrator and you can see my live wedding illustration work here.

Because I’m pretty good at it! Live illustration is what I thrive on and after over 800 hours of live drawing I’m a dab-hand at it.
When you book me, you book someone who knows what they’re doing, has years of experience, an endless thirst for skills and knowledge, and an insatiable eye for detail.
I also love people and really enjoy getting to know you and your guests. I bring an extra ounce of fun and connection to your special event!
If you want to know more about me, you can read my story here.

Live illustration is a unique way to add a creative experience to any event. Drawing live in-front of guests to get people talking while also offering a personalised take home.
With tones of engagement, guests can watch on, take photos and post visuals on social media.
-
Absolutely! All of my illustrations are done at the event, on the spot - not from photos. So every guest who’s drawn will get their custom illustration to take away with them!
Guest illustrations are drawn on high-quality paper and branded with your event logo & details. The are ready for your guests to bring straight home with them.
-
I hope so! In my 800 hours of live illustration, most guests absolutely love being able to get their own portraits drawn. Unlike “normal” event entertainment that’s over in a flash (and, let’s face it, guests have probably seen it a hundred times before), live illustration is an experience that most guests haven’t had before - and it gives them something to take home and treasure too!
I’ve bumped into guests years later at other events and they’ve all commented that they still have their original illustrations - framed and in pride of place!
-
Not at all! I only ask that guests face me while I’m illustrating them. In fact, I much prefer guests to act naturally and not sit stiffly for illustrations, as it means I’m able to properly capture their personalities.
Illustrations of guests are often done as individuals or pairs and I’ll usually draw guests from the waist up. Each illustration takes between 6 and 10 minutes - the perfect time to enjoy a chat or a canapé or a glass of bubbly!
