Things are heating up in the Mexican kitchen
Anybody who knows me, will know my love of Mexican food, it’s my ultimate favourite!
Not only that, I adore the warm vibrant colours of Mexico & Central America. I decided to create this artwork, to combine both together, just for fun!
The ultimate goal of this artwork was to create a mexican inspired colour palette that is used throughout the artwork to bring out vibrancy.
Here’s a peak at my process and how it was created:
Step 1: I came up with the concept and played around with the colour palette.
Step 2: Designing the characters & their costumes.
Step 3: Designing the background & placing the final characters in the scene.
Step 4: Continuing to use the same colour palette to complete the overall artwork.
