As a live event illustrator, it’s my job to make your moments last a lifetime.

What is live event illustration?
When you’re planning an event, whether it’s for business or pleasure, your focus is creating something that your guests will enjoy in the moment and remember afterward.
Live event illustration covers both those bases!
I create bespoke illustrations of your guests right in the moment. Sitting at my illustration-station, I spend around 5 minutes chatting to a guest or pair of guests while drawing them.
Once I’m done, your guests get to take home their illustration as a keepsake of your event - it’s that simple.

Meet your illustrator, Linda
Hi! I’m Linda Byrne: Irish illustrator for hire!
I’ve always had a knack for turning a blank page into something worthy of a mantelpiece (you should’ve seen the lack of space on the fridge in my family home!) - but started off my artistic career in animation.
Swapping stylus and screen for good old fashioned pen and paper, I now spend my days, evenings and weekends live illustrating events across Ireland and beyond, returning to my cosy home studio near Dublin to spend time with my husband, small human and slightly-less-small poodle.

I’m a professional member of a few industry bodies and some local Irish associations too, including the Association of Illustrators, the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, the Design and Crafts Council Ireland and Original Kildare.
Being a member of these bodies helps me pursue my goal of supporting creative industries and being actively involved in my local communities too - so it’s good for us all!
